The Metallurgy Group at the University of Ferrara is a reference point in the field of research and innovation in metallic materials, with extensive experience in technological transfer to companies. With over twenty years of expertise in the microstructural and mechanical characterization of metal alloys, our group is able to provide innovative solutions to businesses, contributing to the technological advancement of the metallurgical sector.
The Metallurgy Group is also part of the Corrosion and Metallurgy Center "Aldo Daccò" at the University of Ferrara, founded in 1956 by Professor Cavallaro and with the crucial financial support of the distinguished metallurgical industrialist Dr. Aldo Daccò, who was then President of the Italian Metallurgical Association (AIM). The establishment of the Center aimed to promote Ferrara as a center of excellence for the development of knowledge in the fields of corrosion and metallurgy.
