Michele Gragnanini

Michele Gragnanini has been a member of the Metallurgy Research Group since July 2023. Born on December 18, 1998, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ferrara in February 2020, with a thesis on corrosion phenomena in brasses used in drinking water distribution systems. Subsequently, in June 2023, he obtained a Master's degree from the same university, with a thesis focused on the tribological characterization of Ni-P coatings for applications in the oil and gas sector.

Since January 2024, Michele has been working as a research fellow in the Metallurgy Group at the Department of Engineering, University of Ferrara. His research primarily focuses on the study and characterization of NiTi alloys for the production of biomedical devices, using Additive Manufacturing techniques.
